A communication device may include a memory and a processor configured to provide audio output to an audio output interface based on audio data received via an active link of a plurality of short-range wireless communication links established between the communication device and further communication devices, encode request information for a transmission to a first communication device of the further communication devices, the first communication device configured to stream audio via the active link, wherein the request information is representative of an audio streaming request received from a second communication device of the further communication devices via an established link of the plurality of established short-range wireless communication links, and set the established link as the active link based on response information received from the first communication device, wherein the response information is representative of a received user interaction based on the encoded request information.
