The present invention relates to a polymer composition comprising a recycled low density polyethylene and a linear low density polyethylene being a terpolymer of ethylene and two alpha-olefin comonomers and having a density ranging from 915 kg/m3 and more to less than 928 kg/m3. Furthermore, a monolayer film comprising such a polymer composition or a multilayered film structure comprising such a polymer composition, and a method for their manufacture is provided by the present invention. Additionally, the present invention is directed to the use of a linear low density polyethylene being a terpolymer of ethylene and two alpha-olefin comonomers and having a density in a specific range for the manufacture of a monolayer film comprising recycled low density polyethylene.
