摘要:
The present invention provides: a charging roll for electrophotographic devices, the charging roll being suppressed in a crack in a surface layer due to a surface layer material; and a method for producing this charging roll for electrophotographic devices. A charging roll 10 for electrophotographic devices is provided with: a shaft 12; an elastic body layer 14 that is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 12; and a surface layer 16 that is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body layer 14. The surface layer 16 contains a binder polymer and metal oxide particles; and a part or the entirety of the surface of each of the metal oxide particles is covered by a fluorine-based anionic surface modification agent.
