- a pair of exterior layers that define opposed planar outer surfaces of the panel;
- a plurality of interior layers interposed between the exterior layers;
wherein the plurality of inner layers comprise:
- a structural layer that lends stiffness and strength to the panel;
- a thermal insulating layer comprising thermally insulating material;
wherein the exterior layer comprises a fire spreading material, and the plurality of interior layers includes a fire shielding layer comprising a fire resistant material.
