The present disclosure provides a solid, homogeneous particle comprising from 50 to 85 weight% of ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, sodium nitrate, aluminum sulfate, and a component selected from the group consisting of dolomite, gypsum, lime, and limestone. The present disclosure also provides a solid particle comprising a solid, homogeneous core particle according to the present disclosure coated with a coating composition at least partially covering the solid, homogeneous core particle and a method for the manufacture of a solid, homogeneous particle according to the present disclosure.
