Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the invention, a method of manufacturing a stator (10) for an electrical machine (100) is provided. The method includes providing (S100) a stator tube (20) defining a central axis (c) and including a first side (21) and a second side (22) axially displaced from each other. The method further includes the step of mechanically coupling (S200) each of a plurality of stator teeth (30) to an outer surface (23) of the stator tube (20) along a circumference (24) of the stator tube (20), wherein each of the stator teeth (30) extends from the first side (21) to the second side (22) of the stator tube (20) to define stator slots (38) between each neighboring stator teeth (30) that are outwardly open. Further, the method involves an installing (S300), from the outside, a winding coil arrangement (50) along the circumference (24) of the stator tube (20) and support the winding coil arrangement (50) by the stator slots (38) formed between the mechanically coupled stator teeth (30) on the outer surface (23) of the stator tube (20). In another step, the method involves mechanically coupling (S400) a stator back yoke (60) with the plurality of stator teeth (30) to surround the stator tube (20) and to enclose the winding coil arrangement (50).
