Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical recording medium for manufacturing the optical recording medium which has low noise level and has good recording and reproducing characteristics.
SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the optical recording medium includes a step of discharging and applying a dye solution onto a substrate by a spin coating method to form a dye recording layer, wherein the substrate is rotated at a rotation speed of 400rpm or higher during a period from the beginning to the end of the discharge of the dye solution.
