PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory control method for an analytical system capable of controlling an inventory of consumables in a proper quantity, without manual assistance.
SOLUTION: Data including an individual recognition data of the consumable such as a calibrator, a precision control sample and a reagent, and a data about the consumable including a carried-in and -out date and time and a quantity thereof are received through a network connection device 4 and a network 3 from each analyzer 2, to be accumulated, the data are summed up a user by a user in every of the analyzers 2. When the inventory quantity is lower than a prescribed inventory quantity or when a delivery prediction date has a number smaller than the prescribed number of days, in a summed-up result therein, the optimum distribution plan is prepared based on a combination of distributed articles, conveying efficiency, the inventory quantity in stock, a carrying-in schedule from a factory and the like, to be distributed automatically to related sections for conducting prescribed settle work, the distribution plan from the each related section is provided thereafter to the corresponding network connection device 4 via the network 3, and the required consumable is delivered to a user address with the required schedule.
