Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access port assembly capable of being disposed inside the body of a patient while a catheter is attached to the access port. SOLUTION: The access port assembly with an attaching type catheter allows a guidewire to be inserted into the catheter for aiding in disposition of the integrated catheter while the catheter is attached to the access port assembly.
