PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a conductive yarn that is obtained by being coated with a conductive polymer composed of a polypyrrole for prevention of static charge, and has low dusting properties. SOLUTION: The method for producing a low dusting conductive yarn includes (a) the step of impregnating a charged yarn with an aqueous solution of a dopant-containing oxidizing agent, (b) the step of bringing the impregnated yarn into contact with a vapor-phase pyrrole monomer and at least partially covering the yarn with a polypyrrole formed by the oxidation polymerization and (c) the step of treating the yarn at least partially coated with the polypyrrole with an emulsion, dispersion or solution of a binder resin.
