PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe cosmetic which is produced from only raw materials expected to have effects and benefits useful for human bodies and does not use a preservative, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This cosmetic of the present invention is characterized by aseptically filling a liquid cosmetic not containing a preservative in a state held in an aseptic state in a small container 10 which has a volume sufficient to fill a volume consumed for one time and is formed from a plastic having a small permeation degree for oxygen and/or water vapor, and sealing the periphery of the opening of the small container 10 with a lid material 102 held in an aseptic state to close the opening of the small container.
