PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for an entrance which is of an opening/closing type, can enhance a windbreaking effect while maintaining the safety of passers, can reduce the necessity of increasing the size of a drive unit as an automatic door, and is simple in structure, and extremely convenient in practical use.
SOLUTION: The opening/closing device includes a partitioned entrance passage and an exit passage having a windbreaking chamber provided in an entrance 1 in a building. Two or more windbreaking chambers 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b are provided adjacent to one another in the entrance passage and/or the exit passage. Swing-type automatic doors 11 to 17 are provided on the indoor side and the outdoor side in the windbreaking chambers so as to be openable and closable, and the opening/closing operation of the internal and external automatic doors is controlled in an interlock manner. Furthermore, for each of the entrance passage or the exit passage, the opening/closing timing of the automatic doors in adjacent windbreaking chambers 3a, 3b or 4a, 4b is controlled in an associated manner.
