PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup assembly which may help an infant or a toddler to hold the cup assembly. SOLUTION: A cup 100 is equipped with a lid 200 which has a projecting mouth section 300, and the mouth section is regulated by a wall which is tapered toward the distal end section of the mouth section. The lid has a handle section 400 which is extended from the lid. The handle section preferably is formed of first and second materials having different Shore A hardnesses so that a rigid section and a gripping section may be predetermined.
