PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker displays many items regarding a menu on a display and also prevents difficulty in recognition of the many items regarding the menu.
SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes a casing, a heating chamber provided in the casing for storing an object to be heated, the color liquid crystal display part 36 for displaying the menu, and a dial 46 operated by a user to choose a menu. The color liquid crystal display 36 displays explanation items regarding the menu together with the menu. When a non-operated state of the dial 46 continues for a first time set beforehand when the explanation items are displayed on the color liquid crystal display 36, the color liquid crystal display 36 displays precautions for executing the menu or operation items for executing the menu while making the explanation items not displayed.
