PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target suitable for a therapeutic approach in tumorigenesis and treating of cancer, and to provide a therapeutic agent relating to tumorigenesis and metastasis. SOLUTION: Protein kinase N beta, or a fragment or derivative thereof is used as a downstream target of a PI3-kinase pathway, preferably as a downstream drag target of the PI3-kinase pathway.
