PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus which can improve user's convenience.SOLUTION: The data processing apparatus includes a storage portion 113 which stores set value information SD in which a set value for processing a data file and a set value symbol are associated with each other, and a main control portion 110 which verifies a set value symbol included in a file name of a data file to be processed by an instruction with the set value information SD, sets a current set value to a set value corresponding to the set value symbol, and performs processing of the data file to be processed by the instruction based on the set value after setting.
