PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration and control of a contact sensor capable of detecting a contact in various directions with a simple configuration in a self-propelled electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: The self-propelled electronic apparatus includes: a self-propelled housing; a bumper 2C disposed on an outer periphery of the housing in an energized state to the housing; a contact sensor for detecting the displacement of the bumper caused against the energization by contact with an obstacle; and a control section for controlling the housing so that the housing is self-propelled while avoiding the obstacle in response to the detection of the displacement. The housing includes one or a plurality of connection parts for displaceably connecting the bumper to it, and connects the bumper rotatably about, as a fulcrum, one or any one connection part.
