PURPOSE: An apparatus for maintaining original shape of rubber sleeve is provided which prevents drawback on coil products by centering drawback during coiling operation by supporting the rubber sleeve so that the center of rubber sleeve is maintained as it is even during contraction of mandrel. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for maintaining original shape of the rubber sleeve of mandrel comprising rod liner, segment liner and rubber sleeve, the apparatus comprises a liner connection bar(17) one end of which is rotationally connected to the side of an inclination part of the rod liner; a base(15) which is connected to the other end of the liner connection bar, on which a through hole(31) is formed in a length direction of the connection bar, and on the side of which a guide(32) longitudinally projected is formed; a cushion bar(14) elastically inserted into the through hole of the base by an elastic means; and a roller base(13) one end of which is mounted on the other end of the cushion bar, and on the other end of which supporting roller(21) is rotationally mounted, wherein a sliding base(16) on which sliding slot is formed so that the guide of the base is slidingly moved and an opening part on the outer surface of which the supporting roller is projected are formed on the segment liner, and the supporting roller is projected to the outside of the segment liner according to forward or backward movement of the rod liner to elastically support the inner surface of the rubber sleeve.
