Abstract:
A process for preparing a catalyst comprising silver on a support, which process comprises - depositing silver on the support, and - depositing on the support a base having a pKb of at most 3.5 when measured in water at 25 ‹C, in a quantity of at least 50 mmole per kg of the support, simultaneously with or later than depositing silver on the support; the catalyst; and a process for preparing an olefin oxide by reacting an olefin with oxygen in the presence of the catalyst. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
