A top roll cleaning device of a vertical annealing furnace comprises a pair of guide rails(110) installed on both sides of the inner upper wall of the vertical annealing furnace in the longitudinal direction, sprockets(120) which are fixed to both ends of the guide rail and rotated by a drive motor, a chain(150) connecting the sprockets, a moving car(200) which is fixed to a part of the chain and is settled in the guide rails, a spool(300) which is installed across the inner upper wall of the vertical annealing furnace and rotated by a spool motor, a band(230) which is wound on the spool and passes through the moving car, a weight which is the fixed to the bottom of the band, a pair of suction pads which are connected each other, a suction pipe connected among one of the suction pads, and brush installed on the bottom both sides of the suction pads.
