PURPOSE: A web document text parsing process on an RSS for perusing only necessary information is provided to improve reading speed by cutting off unnecessary parts through parsing the unnecessary parts of an accessed site. CONSTITUTION: An RSS(Really Simple Syndication) reader application acquires the link of an RSS document from the RSS document. The RSS reader application connects through the link to a website corresponding to the RSS document. The RSS reader application downloads an HTML source corresponding to the RSS document from the website. The RSS reader application cuts off unnecessary parts through the parsing of the HTML source. The RSS reader application acquires only the necessary parts of the HTML source.
