摘要：
PURPOSE: Briquette for manufacturing steel is provided to enhance productivity since desired strength is ensured and melting time greatly decreases, due to an inverse conical groove. CONSTITUTION: Briquette for manufacturing steel comprises a body(10) and a groove(20). The body has a circular-cylinder or polyprism shape. The groove is formed on the upper surface of the body. The groove has an inverse conical shape. The lower apex of the groove has a hemisphere shape. The depth of the groove is 1/2 or less of the body's height. The upper inner diameter of the groove is 1/3 or less of the body's outer diameter.
