CONSTITUTION: An automatic packaging method of a side supply type suitable for bar-type goods comprises a box supply unit, a box transfer unit, a goods holding unit, a box sealing unit, a goods receiving unit(2), and a goods transfer unit(4). The goods receiving unit comprises a stopper, a horizontal stand, a side plate, and attachment. The stopper, the horizontal stand, the side plate are arranged on the floor to align a group of bar-type goods(G). The attachment endlessly circulates on the floor along the chain to transfer the bar-type goods. The goods transfer unit comprises a first upper guide(40) and a second upper guide(42).
