The liquefied natural gas storage container of the present invention is characterized by having a double structure comprising an inner shell; an outer shell; and an insulation layer provided between the inner shell and the outer shell, wherein the inner shell comprises at least two layers of membranes and at least two layers of plates provided at the outer side of the membranes or between the membranes to be in contact with the membranes, and each membrane layer comprises multiple membrane board members, wherein a membrane support protruding toward the inside of the inner shell is provided at the part where the multiple membrane board members are connected.
