Abstract:
A gas turbine engine includes first and second shaft members in an interference fit relationship with one another at an interface. The first and second shaft members respectively include first and second flanges that are arranged adjacent to the interface. The first and second flanges respectively include first and second threads that are configured to cooperate with a tool during disassembly of the first and second shaft members.
