The connecting part is a recess arranged on an upper surface of the dental impression opposite the underside in the area of the negative form of the implant site, and has a longitudinal axis defined along a depth direction of the recess. The recess has a geometry that is rotationally asymmetric about the longitudinal axis, and an external contour of the connecting part is asymmetrical in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the connecting part. The connecting part has a lowered base as a depth stop, the lowered base being within the recess and below the upper surface of the dental impression.
