The display panel comprises a backlight module and a display substrate, wherein the backlight module comprises a plurality of backlight sources having different colors, the display substrate comprises a plurality of pixels, and each of the pixels comprises a plurality of sub-pixels having different colors; sub-pixels of at least one color and backlight sources having the same color are configured to be turned-on during a same time period.
