The disclosure relates to a method for responding to a paging message in a wireless device of a wireless communication network. The method comprises receiving (910) a paging message from the wireless communication network on a first access. The method also comprises receiving (920) configuration information from the wireless communication network indicating how to respond to the received paging message. The configuration information comprises information indicating that the received paging message should be responded to on another access than the first access. An access comprises at least one of a radio access technology, a cell, and a frequency band. The method further comprises responding (930) to the paging message as indicated by the received configuration information.
