The overlapping area between one of the plurality of black matrix elements and a green sub-pixel near one of the plurality of primary spacers below said matrix element forms a first overlap area, wherein an overlapping area between one of the plurality of black matrix elements and a green sub-pixel near one of the plurality of secondary spacers below said matrix element forms a second overlap area; and the first overlap area equals the second overlap area.
