To this end, a user equipment (UE) provides, to a central unit (CU) of the UE, primary channel state information measured by each of a plurality of antenna units that are disposed in distributed locations of the UE; determines any one of a plurality of receiving modes by considering the combined gain of the primary channel state information in the CU; determines a secondary channel state information according to the determined receiving mode; and reports, through a transceiver of the UE to the network, information indicative of the determined receiving mode and the determined secondary channel state information.
