A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a display unit formed to display screen information; an interface unit through which an external device is detachably connected to the mobile terminal; a sensing unit configured to sense whether the external device is coupled to or separated from at least one of which port included in the interface unit; and a controller configured to display graphic data corresponding to the sensing result of the sensing unit on the display unit and display at least one execution menu on the display unit to execute a function associated with the sensing result.
