The repeater can include a first coaxial cable connector configured to be communicatively coupled to the first defined connection. The repeater can include a repeater unit communicatively coupled to the first defined connection. The repeater can include a controller configured to adjust a gain or output power of the repeater unit that compensates for insertion losses between the first coaxial cable connector and the first defined connection.
