The linear compressor may include a shell having a cylindrical shape and a horizontal central longitudinal axis, a fixing bracket provided on an inner circumferential surface of the shell, a compressor body accommodated in the shell in a state of being spaced apart from the inner circumferential surface of the shell to compress a refrigerant, a support connected to the fixing bracket to support the compressor body, and a coupling member that connects the support to the fixing bracket. The support may include a plate spring and a buffer coupled to an edge of the plate spring. The coupling member may pass through the buffer and be coupled to the fixing bracket.
