The method includes: displaying an object management window; detecting a user input performed in the object management window, where the user input includes a screen touch position and a pressure value; determining, according to the screen touch position, the object selected by the user; and performing an operation, when the pressure value is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, the object selected by the user. By using the method and apparatus provided in the present disclosure, an operation can be quickly performed on an object in the object management window, which improves user experience.
