The display device has a base substrate, function layers on the base substrate, and an encapsulation unit on the function layers, wherein the encapsulation unit is in contact with the base substrate around the function layers, to encapsulate the function layers; wherein the base substrate comprises a first substrate, a first moisture-oxygen-blocking organic layer on the first substrate, and a second substrate on the first moisture-oxygen-blocking organic layer; wherein the function layers are on the second substrate; wherein the encapsulation unit comprises a second moisture-oxygen-blocking organic layer, wherein the second moisture-oxygen-blocking organic layer is in contact with the first moisture-oxygen-blocking organic layer around the function layers and combines with the first moisture-oxygen-blocking organic layer at the contact surface to form an one-piece structure.
