The present invention relates to an oral composition and an oral plaque dispersion agent that can effectively disperse plaque firmly adhered to a tooth surface by being applied to the oral cavity.The oral composition comprises the following components (A), (B), and (C): (A) an olefin sulfonate having 14 or more and 20 or less carbon atoms; (B) a hydroxy alkane sulfonate having 14 or more and 20 or less carbon atoms; and (C) sorbitol, wherein the content of the component (A) is 3 mass % or more and 50 mass % or less based on the total content of the component (A) and the component (B).
