An apparatus may transmit a compressed protocol data unit (PDU) to a network node. The apparatus may receive a negative acknowledgement (NACK) message from the network node. The apparatus may restore a compressed service data unit (SDU) to original data. The apparatus may transmit the original data with an uncompressed format to the network node.
