The method for implementing information sharing includes receiving shared information of another user equipment and location information corresponding to the shared information, where the location information indicates a location for the shared information to be displayed on a desktop of another user equipment; and displaying the shared information according to the location information. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, information or a desktop can be shared in real time between two or more user equipments, so that a user of a user equipment is capable of tracing the status of a user of another user equipment and acquiring information on the shared desktop in real time.
