The first shading portions are arranged opposite to the corresponding second openings, and the second shading portions are arranged opposite to the corresponding first openings. In the case where the display panel is in a power-off state, light cannot penetrate the display panel. In the case where the display panel is in a power-on state, the refractive index adjustment mechanism can adjust intensity of light exiting from the second openings.
