The display device of present invention comprises a display unit providing an image; a control unit placed spaced apart from the display unit, the control unit providing the display unit with a electric power and a signal; a cable electrically connect the display unit and the control unit, the cable carrying the electric power and the signal; and a controller configured to control a property of the electric power in accordance with a length of the cable.
