The method includes: obtaining a first image, the first image including a hand and the wrist; binarizing the first image to obtain a binary image; extracting a partial image from the binary image, where the partial image is obtained by removing at least of finger information from the binary image; identifying a principal direction of the binary image based on the partial image, and determining a target direction perpendicular to the principal direction; and determining a target position in the binary image where the binary image matches a first wrist feature as a wrist position in the binary image according to the target direction.
