The display panel also includes a display material layer and support pillars, that are disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. Further, the display panel includes a first region, a second region disposed surrounding the first region, and a third region disposed surrounding the second region. The first region does not contain any support pillar. The support pillars are disposed in the second and third regions, and have an area density in the second region larger than an area density in the third region.
