The liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate; a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate in a first direction; a first liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; a third substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate in a second direction that is an opposite direction to the first direction; and a second liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the third substrate.
