The display apparatus and the method include displaying a first content image on the display apparatus, detecting a first touch from a bezel of the display apparatus, displaying a folding area on a first edge of the first content image in response to a location of the first touch, and moving the first content image to the folding area from an adjacent folding area of the first content image, which contacts the folding area, in response to holding time of the first touch.
