The device is characterized in that the press-in element comprises multiple holding elements projecting from the main body, wherein the holding elements are configured in such a manner that when they are arranged on the crawler belt they penetrate multiple material layers of the crawler belt, in that the holding elements displace material of the material layers, in particular transversely to the penetration direction.
