The electronic device includes a battery, at least one transceiver, and at least one processor configured to be operatively coupled with the at least one transceiver. The at least one processor is configured to detect a charging event for the battery, to determine difference value between first communication quality before detection of the charging event and second communication quality after detection of the charging event, to determine a charge current, based on the difference value, and to charge the battery according to the determined charge current value.
