Abstract:
An information handling system camera manages tilt and pan in an automated manner to direct the camera field of view. A shutter slides behind a camera cover to align a shutter opening with a cover opening. Additional sliding of the cover translates to a tilt of the camera from a full down axis to a full up axis. For example, a cam surface formed in the shutter engages the camera for tilt with a spring bias of the camera against the cam. Rotation of the camera housing about a bracket pivot gear is provided through sliding motion of a pan bar within the camera housing.
