The display device includes a display panel in which pixels including a white subpixel and a colored subpixel are arranged in a matrix form, and subpixels are disposed in a region where gate lines extending in a first direction and data lines extending in a second direction intersect, a gate driving circuit driving the gate lines, a data driving circuit driving the data lines, and a timing controller for controlling the gate driving circuit and the data driving circuit. In the display panel, a luminance data voltage is applied to the white subpixel, and a same data voltage is applied to two colored subpixels adjacent in the first direction.
