The player enters a wager associated with an expected characteristic of a fifth community card to be dealt during the game. The fifth community card is dealt and a determination is made whether the player wins the wager based on the actual characteristic of the fifth community card matching the expected characteristic associated with the player's wager. An award to be received by the player is determined based on the player winning the wager.
