Abstract:
A display device and a display control method, and the display device includes: a backlight module, a first display panel, and a second display panel, and a processor. The processor is configured to: acquire a pixel grayscale matrix of an image to be displayed; determine desired brightness of each pixel by using a grayscale-brightness curve of the second display panel based on the pixel grayscale matrix; determine set light-emitting brightness of backlight partition according to grayscale information in the pixel grayscale matrix corresponding to the backlight partition; obtain a first corrected brightness of each backlight partition based on light diffusion coefficients of the plurality of backlight partitions; determine a grayscale of pixel unit according to a brightness difference between the first corrected brightness and the desired brightness; obtain a second corrected brightness of the backlight partition.
